Pamela Grombacher is an independent curator based in Aarhus, Denmark.

Currently her practice explores different ways of bringing artists together in collaborative research and exhibition making. This stems from her interest in questions around artistic labour - how it is valued, how it relates to other (feminized) forms of hidden work, and how to improve artists’ working conditions.

Pam is Co-Director of Juxtapose Art Fair, a new gathering for the artist-run sector that debuted in August 2021. She is also Project Manager at Aarhus Billedkunstcenter, where she facilitates international networking and exchange, with a focus on residencies.

Before moving to Aarhus, Pam was Associate Director at Meridian Gallery in San Francisco. In 2014, she graduated with an MA in History of Art, Design, and Visual Culture from University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada.
